I was in a social media class the other day learning the benefits of Twitter and had to laugh when the topic came to "re-tweeting" because it sounds like someone with a lisp saying "retreating." With all the information we are expected to process on a daily basis - work emails, blog posts, tweets, links and Facebook messages, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. The cure is not another "re-tweet" but it rather a retreat - a Yoga retreat.
Yoga retreats happen all over the world but they are particularly sweet in Hawaii where wellness springs naturally from the island's beauty and aloha. The benefits of a Yoga retreat are rejuvenation and a sense of inner peace, that we can only find when we disconnect from the world of constant contact and stimulation for a period of time. When we slow down and rest, we can reflect and gather new inspiration. Hawaii Wellness Retreats are better than an average vacation to the islands because they combine a getaway to one of the world's most exquisite locations with an opportunity to meet like-minded people and to learn about healthy lifestyle practices
People who have been on Yoga Retreats say things like, "It was a fabulous experience for my body, mind and awareness. Such a joy!" and
"It was a wonderful experience and I felt so much better when I got home. I started my meditation practice, had a lot of positive interactions this week and felt more self-confident and centered. I learned that kindred spirits are out there even if sometimes it is hard to find them in a busy world."
Yoga retreats allow you to relax and rejuvenate, experience deeper connection with yourself and others and the great Mystery around and within us. So don't re-tweet…retreat!
