What would the world be like if our Job Description was to "Find The Good Stuff?"
I was visiting with a friend this past week and she was excited to announce all "The Good Stuff" she was finding.
Including websites, tv shows, videos, blogs that sent out information about the good
samaritan's in the world and positive news.
She said it is nice with all the negativity in the world to find all "The Good Stuff".
I thought about her comment and what if we all…Continue

A new painting...enjoy....the innocence of the turtles.
Turtles don’t really fight with each other. Last time I saw one sleeping, another came behind him and pushed him away. How rude! The one that was pushed away, just looked and gave up its place immediately.
No fighting, just acceptance…mmm…
I know that there is a lot of negativity and pain in the world, to mention this…but I will do it anyway.
It touched me, that’s why.
A huge turtle died today in Maui at the…

Ladies and Gentlemen introducing the amazing "Single Mom"
We all have one of these in your life. You watch them in awe as they juggle 10 balls in the air at once.
Your heart skips a beat when one falls. But keep watching as she stops the ball with her foot from rolling out of reach, rolls it back on the top of her foot and flips it back into the air. And there she goes all 10 are in the air again! You know when you get that call for the "exercise" ball. They tell you…Continue

Dolphins are the love of my life. I can shut up about them. I can stop thinking about them. I have it really bad…this thing with the dolphins.
There are no words for it…their sounds, their energy, their joy and happiness…
Just enjoy my newest painting. I love this one. The big dolphin blends in the back ground and the other two going into the light, as metaphor for the joy and light that is within each ones heart. It is the heart of the Universe…our heart…the…Continue

I once had the opportunity to take a Japanese mom and her two children to the beach. There was a Japanese group here in Maui and there was one car to short to drive the whole group to the beach. So I volunteered and it was a really awesome experience. I love the Japanese people, they are so humble and sweet! (We can learn a lot from that)
Anyway, the mom spoke a little English and we had the most fun. Our conversation would often end in showing hand signals.…Continue

This presentation addresses the issue of health literacy from an indigenous perspective. There has been much focus on addressing the cultural and linguistic aspects of health; however, very few practitioners who were schooled in the Euro-Western traditions of healthcare fully comprehend the foundation of the cultures they wish to serve. By looking at traditional healing practices to provide insight to cultural protocols with regard to health, much understanding can be found.
