save the dolphins in Taiji, Japan
A phone and email event to raise awareness and petition the Japanese Government to end the slaughter and taking into captivity of wild dolphins In Taiji, Japan.
This happens every day from November to March, every year. Pods of dolphin migrating past Taiji are herded by boats into a small cove and slaughtered in front of each other, mothers and babies too. It is inhumane killing, these intelligent beings are sentient and very aware of their family group and what is happening to them.
