Bhakti Dance Celebration! Kirtan & Yoga-Dance Fusion

A special night of kirtan led by Arvindaksa & Latika devi leading into yoga and dance with facilitators Larina Hawkins & Murti Hower!

Arvindaksa offers his 25 years of experience singing bhajans and kirtans. He and Latika devi love to share the gift of devotional mantras and songs from deep in their hearts!

Larina brings a love of dance and yoga in facilitating events that combine these two powerful practices. Her certifications include 200RYT and Yoga Trance Dance™ with Shiva Rea. Murti shares his practice of Hatha Yoga since 1982 and his 20 years of teaching.

This special evening will begin and end with kirtan creating a beautiful atmosphere where participants will open their hearts in song, leading into a unique program of yoga and dance.

We will move from the grounding, centering techniques of yoga into the space of free-form dance, and then back to our centers into a meditative state.

An eclectic blend of world music evoking all of the elements of our seven sacred centers from the root to the crown – earth, water, fire, air, sound, light, thought – will take you into a conscious yoga dance experience!

Potluck to follow event. Please bring your favorite healthy vegetarian pupus to share! This is an alcohol-free event.
